Don,
Merry, Kate, Sue and Betsy are taking turns collecting
water samples at three sites below the Rt. 1 Bridge each Wednesday
morning throughout the summer.
The
Kittery Parks Commission is working with the Healthy
Beaches Program for the first time this year to ensure safe water
quality for beach goers at Sea
Point Beach and Fort Foster.
We have been able to hook-up with this program and get some "free" entercoccus analysis for Spruce Creek. We thank the people at the University of Maine Cooperative Extension, Healthy Beaches Program.

Site 1 is off Bond
Road at Barters & Spruce Creeks. Site 2 is off Eagle Point in Admiralty
Village. Site 3 is off Roger's Park.
Note: Results on 6/22, 7/13 and 810 were greater than 200.
